Here it is worth mentioning that various MTH products can be used in multiple industries and in different applications. One example of multiple use is lead wool. This can be used in radiation shielding, e.g. for filling gaps (radiation leaks), and as a sealant in masonry joints in the construction sector.

Would you like to dispose ofyour old lead-containing appliances and components and your residual lead stocks? No problem. We would be pleased to take it back, separate the lead from the attached material and ensure that it is recycled properly. We pay you an attractive redemption price for the lead volume. 

Due to its high density, lead is also very suitable for noise suppression, i.e. as a cladding material for soundproofing . Or as raw material for further processing. In this case we can supply welding wire and rods, which are used in all product sectors, of course. Lead is used in galvanic plating. One example is an anode with a beam carrier as the basic structure with a homogeneously bonded lead coating. The lead of the anode wears out during use (sacrificial anode), and is then reprocessed and reused. The result is an endlessly repeatable process. Anodes such as this are used, for example, in the galvanising of automotive sheet metal, for chemical processes, as electrodes for separating acids in exhaust air filters in chemical production or as acid protection / corrosion protection in lead-lined transport containers.
